2nd Grader to 3rd Grader

Carington finished up her last day of 2nd grade today-wow! Can't believe she'll be in the 3rd grade next year. What happened to that Kindergartner I took to school for the first time??? We are so proud of her. She has been a "trooper" during this whole move process! She's had a good attitude about it, much better than mine in the beginning and adjusted well to life in a whole new world. I know it hasn't been easy being the new kid in school and leaving a loving church family and wonderful friends and a dance studio she dearly loved but she has done marvelous!!!!

Empty Suitcase!

This morning I noticed Brady was being awful quiet. When I went to see what he was up to he had emptied Carington's suitcase that I had so neatly packed the day before. He emptied it into her baby doll's pac-n-play. Guess I'll repack and zip it this time.

THE SIGN SAYS IT ALL!!!!!!

And we can't wait!!!

Brady saw his daddy's shoes and said... "ooes"-"dada"!!!!!

Bookworm!!!

Carington is a "bookworm" she loves to read and one of her favorite spots is to sit on her bottom bunk and let her imagination take her away!! We're constantly checking books out from the American Club library and the school library for her to read.

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!!!

Who needs toys...when you can play with mommy's change from her billfold and the dive sticks in the swim bag!!! (Don't worry...I don't let him play with the change unsupervised!!!)
