Map of Singapore

Here is a map of Singapore and a larger map of Asia so that you can see where Singapore is located in relation to the rest of Asia. Located at the very top of the map you'll see Woodlands and that is where Carington's school (Singapore American School) is located. If you look on the map to the very left you'll notice Tuas which is where Robert's office (TDW Asia Pacific) is located. We live where you see Singapore, in the middle near the bottom. We are located in the heart of the "city". Rent is the most expensive here...it's expensive on the whole island compared to home...our rent is $6000 USD p/month...that would buy a mansion back in the states but only affords me 1700 sq. ft. here...crazy isn't it!!!!! Public transportation is very safe here and clean. Most people travel by bus, taxi or MRT (subway system). Singapore is 25 miles long and 14 miles wide. When I was first learning to drive a friend of mind told me not to worry about getting lost because it was an island and eventually I'd run into water and have to turn around (ha-ha!!!)...easy for her to say!!
