Several weekends ago we took a trip up to the east coast of Singapore to explore a part of the island we had not been before. There are lovely parks where you can rent bikes or roller blades and ride along the beach. We found some good restaurants to go back and try. Families had set up tents along the beach and were camping. It's definitely a place we'll have to go back on a weekend, take our cooler and beach attire and enjoy the sun. I'll be sure to blog about in January or February when it's sunny and warm here and you all are freezing in Oklahoma!!!
A sandcastle building contest was going on.
Ships are lined up for MILES (as far as the eye could see) to get into port.
Not sure what this man was up to...he had built a make-shift raft and a box on the back of it.
