Another Bite of Normalcy!!!

Finally figuring out how to use my oven!! It is not anything like what we are used to in the States. The temps are in Celsius...should've payed more attention to that in school. It's an Italian brand called Elba. There are pictures on the dial for certain settings and not easily understandable in the directions. I was cooking things on broil for awhile...they kept burning on the top and raw on the inside. My friend Virginia from California who lives in the same complex showed me how to work the oven. So by trial and error we're slowly figuring out how it works. Made 2 batches of cinnamon rolls that turned out good and last night made BROWNIES. They were one of our staples at home. Carington loves brownies and would rather have them over any other dessert, so to have them was a taste of home.
