Open House at SAS

Saturday, August 9th we got the opportunity to go to the school for Open House and meet Carington's teacher. Here are some pictures from the day.

Mrs. Brundage's background is a library/media specialist so she is particularly fond of books and has a very large area with a couch and 2 chairs for the kids to check out books from the classroom library and enjoy the experience of reading.

Carington's 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Brundage. This is her 2nd year at SAS. She has spent the past 27 years (yes, I said 27 years) teaching at the American school in Saudi Arabia and the new superintendent ( who was at the same school in Saudi) convinced her to move to Singapore and teach at SAS. And boy we are sooooo glad!!!! She is WONDERFUL!! She greeted Carington with a hug and a smile and has a fun personality. Mrs. Brundage reminds us of Carington's 2nd grade teacher back in the states whom we dearly loved because she made learning sooooo FUN for the kids and Mrs. Brundage has the same personality!!!
