Christmas Starts Early in Singapore, Too....

I guess the marketing mania of Christmas is not only in the US. The malls here in Singapore are already beginning to decorate for Christmas and it's not even Halloween yet. I thought that only happened in the US. The lights and decorations are going up along Orchard Road ( I'll be sure and get pictures when it is fully decorated)...I noticed Tanglin Mall had Christmas Trees in their window !!!! I have been pleasantly surprised to find fall decorations in the stores and at the American Club. Cold Storage a grocery store chain that caters to expats has had candy corn, pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn etc. Sticker shock though...some of the bigger pumpkins will sell for $50 sgd...we only have small pumpkins at our house!!!!
